“Wow! You promised laughter, tears and more laughter and you delivered. You were ‘just what we needed’ is what I’ve heard from so many and I totally agree. Many of our ladies kept asking me how I knew you or found you and I was so happy to tell them that you were definitely a God send. I will recommend you to anyone I can and will keep you on file to call upon again! What a precious person you are! I am so thankful God allowed our  paths to cross.  Telia Carman, Victory Baptist Church-Seagoville

Tammy was such a blessing at our Women’s Retreat - Discovering Girlfriends. She made us laugh, cry and grow closer through God’s word…..and we discovered a new girlfriend in her! It was obvious she had sought God’s guidance in what to say because she presented exactly what we needed for the weekend. We can’t wait to have her back for our Teacher Appreciation Banquet in a few months! Trish Rayford, Cornerstone Baptist Church~Terrell, TX

I first met Tammy when she brought a mission team to Sand Point, AK. She did a wonderful job there and made lots of new friends. She recently spoke at a Women’s Conference at Sardis Baptist Church in Lyerly, GA, where my husband is now the Pastor. Women came from churches all over the county to hear Tammy speak and sing. All the women are still talking about how she encouraged them and how much they enjoyed the conference. She has made many more new friends here. I strongly recommend that if you are anywhere near where Tammy is speaking, go hear her. You will be encouraged and uplifted! Fredia Teague, Sardis Baptist Church, Lyerly, Georgia

Tammy is the most inspirational and uplifting person I know! She always has just the right words to relate to each woman in her audience regardless of age, background, or current circumstances — she can reach them all.  God has blessed Tammy with the ability to spread His JOY to others.  Trista Bills, White Oak, TX

Tammy was alive with energy and was able to enrich and uplift the women who came to our brunch. She has been given the remarkable talent of taking her message and making it educational, fun and relevant to each person. Comment after comment I received was about how Tammy’s words “deeply affected” them or “it felt like… she was speaking directly to me.” The looks on the faces of laughter and tears expressed the same sentiments. Tammy is a joy to work with.  ~ Pastor Daniell Barton, New Hope Church, Shamrock TX

What a blessing Tammy Whitehurst was! Everything she talked about seemed to hit me right between the eyes…but most importantly, in my heart. I sometimes have a tendency not to reach out when I need someone to talk to. She talked about how important our friends and sisters in Christ really are to us. She was funny, serious, tender, and just a beautiful woman inside and out. The Spirit of the Lord was so thick in that Church I almost felt I could reach out and touch Him…and boy did He touch me, through Mrs. Tammy’s words. I hope to see you again soon Tammy. But if I don’t get to in this life, guess what? I’ll still “see ya soon.” Thank you so much for sharing your joy for the journey with the ladies at Victory Baptist Church in Seagoville. It was truly a blessing! All for His glory! Julia May, Seagoville, Tx.

I have been fortunate to attend two of Tammy’s special events with Joy for the Journey and I must say it was full of Joy! She is a great speaker with joy and enthusiasm for the Lord. Scripture tells us we should praise God in all circumstances and Tammy helps you do just that. But more than that, Tammy encourages a kind of sisterhood when we meet and we are able to share some of our personal struggles with one another. I look forward to attending more of Tammy’s specials. Hope to see you there! -Sandy Van Horn, Omaha, TX

I have only had the pleasure of attending one conference, “Cleaning out Your Spiritual Closet,” and it was a spiritual blessing. Tammy’s presentation was uplifting, encouraging, and fun. Tammy provided excellent leadership and encouraged our spiritual growth. The music was awesome and the food was great. I really appreciate her ministering and encouraging women. I loved the final activity of everyone lighting a candle and singing. The activity illustrated to me that my single candle only created a small light but with all the candles it created a brighter light. If we as Christian women combine our skills and abilities, we can light the world for our Lord and Savior. Tammy thank you for all your hard work and dedication for “Joy for the Journey”.Because HE lives, -Hazel Rudd,  Daingerfield, TX

As pastor of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas, I am pleased to recommend Tammy Whitehurst and “Joy for the Journey” ministry. Tammy recently held a conference at our church as part of our women’s ministry, and she did a tremendous job. Tammy is a very energetic speaker. She adds humor and emotion to make her presentation more appealing to those in need. She has a very unique style of delivery. Tammy also feels that God has led her to minister to ladies who need encouragement in this troubled world in which we live. Because Tammy loves her Lord and is very active in her local church, I highly recommend her. -Nolan Richey Pastor,Concord Missionary Baptist Church, Omaha, TX

I learned at the conference that the Lord’s sovereignty over our lives is incomprehensible. That we are all bound by a common thread of human frailty and that if we live transparent with others our experiences can be life saving to others. We are all truly a light unto the world! -Concetta Castiglione, White Oak, TX
