Let’s talk serious for a second. Satan wants to defeat, discourage and destroy our relationships.

His attacks are not to trip us up or knock us down. He wants to take us out. He begins by tempting us with a chip on our shoulder. That little chip can fester into something huge. Bigger than we ever imagined. It can cripple us entirely and make us hostile toward everything and everyone.

“Chipsters” [as we call them] are easily offended. They expect trouble, so they are always ready for it. Always wanting to fight someone over any little thing. For the record, we do not have to accept the invitation to every fight.

We always have a choice in life. Today, let’s choose joy. We can stand there scratchin’ our noggin or we can surrender the chip to Jesus and watch change happen. Life is too short to live with a chip on the shoulder. The only chip I want is a chocolate one.

Just keepin’ it real……

1 Corinthians 10:13 “…..God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
